This might be just too big and open a topic to be just a single thread.... hmmm

Hi Sharon

This is fantastic.

I will make a few copies and circulate them to some of my colleages.

If you would like some leaflets send an A4 stamped addressed envelope to:

Infinite Eye
2 Claremont Gardens
Glasgow
G3 7LW

In fact I'll make in a 3 leaflet pack and you will get a Radiance walk leaflet and a "Look there it isn't" one!!

On shipyards, to be trialled for 6 months before it becomes permanent:

The long-standing tradition of a mid-morning tea break is to disappear from BAE Systems shipyards on the river Clyde at Scotstoun and Govan. In return, the 1,400 workers have concluded a pay deal which will give them a lump sum of £1,000 and a two-year pay deal worth 11.5%. The workers won't be giving up a refreshing cup of tea entirely - they can still drink it down while working on the job instead of downing tools and moving to a canteen.

An excellent job Sharon, an old Fairfield man salutes you :D
Although my dear old dad would be mad that Drysdales doesn't feature :?

Not to worry, I'm sure it would be hard to get everything in, (as the actress said!) :P

From a 1960's Clyde Navigation Trust brochure which I happen to have - picture of Merklands Animal Lairage. Room for 3000 cattle as well as sheep & pigs and there was also an abattoir.
