Don't know Fos I was thinking that myself. Maybe one of our bus experts would be able to tell us.

Alex when you were at Parkhead Depot - did you see the war memorial that was once located at First's Knightswood Bus Garage?
I've often wondered where it ended up after Knightswood Garage closed

Sorry Brian I should have said the Knightswood memorial was moved to the new Scotstoun Depot.
I will arrange to visit and get a photo.

It's a figure of Britannia holding a sword. There's a photo of it on the Glasgow Story site.

Thanks for clearing that up Doc. It is a shame that this is now missing.
If you want to read the names Doc I took other photos and can post them up if you would like to see who is listed on these memorials.
The Newlands Memorial is the hardest to make out and is in a poor condition compared to the others.

Brilliant photos Alex
I went to bed before you posted them (up early) so I've only just seen them.
The buggers wouldn't let me in to photograph these

Elections are next year. That might help if you stood (and won).

Its more about connections. Who you know, not who you are.
