[img] Has anyone been looking at latest developments along the river. Now that the Granary is away there has been talk about the SECC and around Partick about Tesco on site of old scrapppy. Also along at Yoker the old power station site along to Rothesay docks is now cleared and ready to build on. The Rothesay dock now has boat lifting facility but am not sure if this will appeal yo the yachties. more commercial craft. Lastly the John Browns site is under way and thanks to the excellent pics from the remaining Titan crane would be nice to hear any updates.

Passed by Finneston Crane yesterday and noticed the support span for the road/light-rail bridge is up. If it all goes to plan then the it could be completed mid-Summer.

As far as I know the new bridge being built alongside the Finnieston crane is for road / pedestrian use only - Never saw any mention of light rail use on the planning application or in the various articles that have appeared in the Evening Times

That'll be the beach where there was a small brick building that the locals painted windows and curtains on the outside and wrote "Shore Inn" across the front.
A prime spot for mooning the good folks enjoying a day doon the watter on the Waverley.
