Is that the newsagent at the top of Renfield Street?

I once saw (fae the bus window) the owner climbing into the window to fish oot what was either a rather stoory bottle of bud, or bud bottle bong?

I don't think I'll buy a carry-oot there anyway, just to be on the safe side. :)

On Hyndland St in teh West End.

This place was done up, well it mustv been 2 years ago judging from my photos. But anyway, it must have looked absolutely stunning in its heyday. I believe it may have been a carpet shop previously??

And now is a pricey little deli.

Its now mostly painted balck, they should have left it with the lush purple and gold designs imho. (theres a little patch preserved)

Shitty Bakeries

Postby Pgcc93 » Thu Apr 22, 2004 12:19 am

This has to be the last ever original City Bakeries (CB) sign as of the 22nd April 2004. This was the Second Day Shop in Partick, Glasgow. Where you could by a pie / cake on the second day of its shelf life Mmm..taste that sour cream ....slurp!!! :?

More shops

Wow, what a great collection. There are some shopfronts on my site I like (http://www.ilike.org.uk/photos/index.html - ) if any of you fancy a look. Quite a lot are from Glasgow or wee towns round and about. Where's the Lyceum Cafe? It looks like a cracker.
