I have a friend who's neighbour has a loft and he explained it's a sort of kidnapping game, whoever can tempt a bird into their loft gets to keep it? I was hoping someone here might be able to shed a little more light on the rules and culture?
Cheers.
• I have maintained a pigeon hut on the land for 25 years, if development is granted what will happen to
my hut.
Response: The hut is located on land that is owned by the Council and the applicant has sought to
purchase the land from the Council if the application is successful. In terms of planning legislation,
there is no requirement for the hut to be retained and its retention would potentially undermine the
intention in upgrading part of the open space within the site.
