The bus with it's back end hanging out - doesn't look like Glasgow livery (no green stripe!). It does, however, have the same livery as the old Tyne & Wear PTE buses. Did Glasgow have an all yellow livery, or is this a lost bus?

Looking at the breakdown truck behind it, its a Grahams service, maybe set up after bus devolution?

Grahams of Paisley who operated routes from their depot in Hawkhead Road, Paisley to Govan and Linwood. Grahams ceased operation in 1990.

Was there a Sonic the Hedgehog Atlantean bus that used to run about the city in the late 80s early 90s promoting Sega products or did i imagine that ?

The latest edition of Classic Bus has a six page article detailing the final days of Glasgow's Trolley Bus system. Seemed quite interesting as some of the photographs coincide with the large scale housing demolition.

Once again it was perused whilst in WH Smith in East Kilbride.

Does anyone have a picure of a Western SMT bus as in the Glasgow to Johnstone run circa 1955, 1959, 1966, 1971 that I can use on my facebook site for a short story I am doing for my grandkids on facebook? If anyone has one of the Johnstone SMT bus company garage in 66 a double kiss.
