The more I read about Central, the more I would love a nosey behind the scenes :-) I know the underground areas were open for tours some years back, but I missed it :-(
Has anyone had luck asking Network Rail for a tour of their buildings ?

But people would have said the same about a tour of the Subway as well. Being an organised group helps a lot.

Tour of central

Postby dougie79 » Sun Jul 29, 2007 4:02 pm

Well as expected its a bit NO! I contacted network rail asking of the possibility of getting a tour and due to "The current security issues" it was out of the question. The same went for getting a tour of the subway. Unless someone is really good friends of someone who works down there then we might be scunnered. Bloody terrorists spoil everything for everyone.

Some HG members had a subway tour last year - that was my point.
