This is purely from memory so it may be a little inaccurate. i remember large glass doors where Bookworld now lives, after the City Bakeries closed and Wimpy took over (around 1987), the entrance to the Castlebank Group Office were moved to Dowanside Lane and Bargain Books moved into the space vacated by this entrance.

I got the above a little wrong, I happened to be in Glasgow about a fortnight ago, and had a look, first time for about twenty years, the picture above is the exit from the Kelvin Rooms I had mistaken it for the entrance of which there is now no sign whatsoever.
