Can anybody give me info on this building that stood on the corner of Argyle St and Old Dumbarton Rd(where the BP garage is now).

There is a picture of it on the Virtual Mitchell website.I heard that it sustained damage during WW2,lay derelict for some years and then eventually pulled down.Any memories or ideas of dates etc?

There's a couple of suggestions on web sites that the Church closed in the thirties. a call to the Mitchell Library archives may help.
