6 Tuxedo Princess: A ship with a revolting dancefloor, it anchored at Broomielaw for three years in the 80s.

Carl Wessler found the photograph of The Humblebums.

Carlton Jugband says "It's no the Scotia ~ the roof is too high. Looks like the inside o' the Tardis?"

Given he's possibly studied the ceiling from a vantage point on the floor is he right. The again before I edited his quote, he couldn't distinguish between an apostrophe and a quotation mark. Maybe his vision is impaired.

Definitely The Scotia: the column and screen behind Gerry Rafferty, the beamed ceiling, and the original windows, as seen here:-

That's her sister ship, the Tuxedo Royale, Stevie. I was just looking at it at the weekend, funnily enough. The Tuxedo Princess was scrapped in Turkey in 2008.

Hi all,

Does anyone remember a band that used to play in the Three Pigeons, corner of Sauchiehall St/Granville St in the mid 80's? They did some parodies of songs like Yesterday, it became Leprosy, and the did one of Delilah. I thnk it would have been a Friday or Saturday night. They also had a wee American who played harmonica, i think he was called Charles??

Would be awesome if anyone could remember.
