Anything happening with all these topics with hundreds of photos?

Would be nice to see some of them on the HG homepage.

Good idea, but in today's social climate, taking pictures of ice cream vans surrounded by kiddies may not be particularly sensible.

Not particularly talking abotu ice cream vans.

There's loads of topics in the projects section, lke "Stencil Art", "W its gone its gone", "Glasgow Doors". Stuff like this could be put onto the main page, where it would hopefully be seen by a wider audience.

Not wanting to sound like I'm moaning, but the main page hasn't been updated in a while, could do with some new stuff on there...

are the iceys ever hassled by disney etc over copyright? and who does the artwork? is it the same punter who does the airbrushed west coast USA scenes on the dodgems? (you know... boss eyed pamela anderson, one breast bigger than the other)

Whilst I don't have your boss eye for detail it might just be that Pamela Anderson like many other women does have one breast larger than the other. Perhaps her surgeon thought that would make them more realistic.

In any family there's always a cousin that's "good at the art", I think they are responsible for the sides of ice cream vans.

On subject of the Chuckle Brothers, most people don't know that Barry Chuckle had a spectacular solo career

Glasgow's ice cream vans always make me chuckle - ancient and out regardless of the weather (one was outside my flat this afternoon - we pondered whether there's plenty of demand for 99s when the temperature's struggling above freezing, or if - as in days past - it wasn't just ice cream for sale)

the below is probably my favourite glasgow van- good old pat's ices, outside the transport museum
