Indeed, also if you go down on the STV side of the bridge at the river, the bridge isn't high enough off the ground so that even I would have difficulty walking under it if it was open, and I'm 5'6.

Wasn't quite sure whether to post this in city shots or skylines, but it's mostly of the Kingston Bridge so here it is!

Ah'm going to regret asking this, but here goes...... I can see what it is but why - left over from the contractors? Anyway it's causing an obstruction. Get Strathclyde's Finest to have a word.
Also.... it wouldn't take tooo much effort to see if it floats

i drove over the kingston bridge last night at about 10.00 pm, and was quite dissapointed to see that the new bridge,squinty/clyde arch... is not lit up at night at all well, i just supposed that they would make a real feature of the big white arch by having it lit up at night. so does anyone know if there are lights on the arch itself or are there any plans to light up the arch at night ?
i just think that if it were lit up, it become even more of a landmark structure than it already is .

Its impossible to light up the outside of the arch evenly unless they fit floodlights to buildings
