The Scottish Outdoor Access Code doesn't provide or create Rights of Way, which will have been established years ago, or new laws, but does clarify the postion regarding your rights to access land in Scotland. See the detail in

I'm afraid that we are currently undertaking some safety assessments for
the site, and can't allow people to visit: sorry.

What is the current status of the Dunglass Castle property (possibly for sale?) as I noticed the sign read "Former Esso Plant"?
