The Blind Asylum

Don’t forget about the blind asylum behind the cathedral
It’s the only six sided tower in Glasgow.
Quite a crumbly building.
I hope they save it.

Its other claim to fame is having the only public statue of Christ in Glasgow. It shows him (or Him, depending on your taste) restoring sight to a blind boy, and was executed by Charles Grassby in 1881. I agree that it should be saved, as it is a remarkable building.
