I think I should read the manual for my camera to see if I can get shots like that... ashamed to say I've never taken it out of the box, and full auto mode is not getting me results.
Buggered if I can find my shots of the Kingston Bridge either.

Got it from a book called "Glasgow:official handbook and industrial survey" produced by the Glasgow corporation. Loads of interesting stuff about the CDA plans. Available for perusal in the Glasgow room at the mitchell.
