aye ok AMcD, I've just made it back to my flat and I just remember the spillageing so there's some kind of time delay involved here(in the order of 2 hrs)... i suspect nodrog's the boy with something to explain tomorrow... although I did launch into a couple of drunken monologues that I'm assuming someone remembers better than me....

crusty and sharon are clutching their hair bobbles tho...

Oh dear. The research club is not good for my health - I did have an impressively sore head this morning....

I work with one of the DJs from Trash - he was completely ashen white when told the news. That was his main income. Don't know what he's gonna do now.

He did say the people that owned the club do not get on well but he didn't think it was an insurance job.

Shame - he was due to work there tonight too.

Another beautiful historic building destroyed by fire... Does anyone remember when The Institute building in Paisley was destroyed by fire years ago?
Ehhh... cool. Whatever you say, I'm sorry. You're the man. The dude in the chair.

You managed to remember that!? Blimey, pencil me in for next time.

Good night all round chaps, thanks for being such accomodating hosts.

Update on the progress of investigation into the fire which looks to have destroyed another A listed building hits snag.

Trash nightclub in Glasgow has relocated to the old Mas site in Glasgow’s Royal Exchange Square. A fire destroyed the original Trash venue on Friday November 26 and it has now moved to its new home. When the club’s owners (Lynnete Leisure) realised the extent of the fire damage to the Pitt Street venue, they immediately commissioned a £250K spend on the former Mas site. A brand new Trash launches on Friday December 10 at the new venue. All the Trash DJs will still be there so expect Beat 106’s Scott Mackay and Lisa Littlewood on a Friday night playing house music, with Rob B playing r’n’b. Saturdays continue as before with Beat 106’s Paul N’Jie playing urban music and Stephen Lee, Woody and M8’s Kevin McFarlane playing house music. The massive T.I.T night will continue on a Tuesday too.

A £250,000 refit in a week and a half? 8O
Perhaps they are proposing simply to paper their insurance windfall onto the wall in £10 notes.

I took some photographs today on my way to meet a friend for lunch. Rather worrying is that the barriers have the name of a demolition company on them.

Apologies for quality, it was hard to get near to get a decent shot.
