As soon as i heard about it, my cynical side kicked in....another prime bit of city centre land about to become available. We'll see what the investigators come up with. I'm guessing "faulty wiring"....
I see dead buildings...

I couldn't be happier that this happened. Two shitey clubs frequented by wankers downed in one fell swoop.

Scotland with style my arse.

Ok, that's one side of it... But consider this - where [Like pigeons from a demolished doocot] do you think all these wankers will go now the Shack is burnt down ?

That's right - into the decent pubs and clubs that you and I frequent.

Not good!

At least they chose an appropriate name for the place.

Nah, I've given up on pubs, i'd much rather stay in with a few choice friends with a carry out than pay over the odds to shout over a bunch of wanks in some shitty pub.

No that's NuttyTigger and her team putting together the original report that you were so impressed by.

I know this is probably a nasty thing to say, but see the guy on the right at the back.

He looks like a c*nt.

AMcD, were you not at the pub this evening? Or have you arrived home? If so, how was it? Any gossip?

Aye.. I went to the pub... not bad, ended up having to sprint for the bus again. Not good for a slob in my condition.

It was a good night, but I'll probably just remember that I managed to spill half a pint of Large over the table when attempting to top up my pint glass, and then later knocked over my Jack Daniels whilst talking (killie) with hand actions. Good chat, but I'd probably have lasted longer if I hadn't knocked back the free vodka and not went out boozing at 5 o'clock.

On that note... anyone planning going out after work on the christmas night out? I cannae make the dinner, but could probably meet for drinks in the afternoon/5:00...

The Shack has given me some great nights out avec mes amis - much cheap booze and not much sobriety... have also put in many solid shifts of wooing and met some crackers within those four walls. It's a great shame that this place will most probably be knocked down. Let's hope the current Glaswegian vogue for eye-rapingly disgusting architecture doesn't make its way to this location.

...and the day I settle for a night in with friends instead of going out with them to a pub/club is the day I collect my pension.

Funk dat!
