Here’s one where the bell, bird and tree are also carved into the masonry surrounding the coat of arms.

Got this one from the front cover of a book from 1958.

Alex, It’s the Muirend branch of the Savings Bank of Glasgow, 443 Clarkston Road with the street number in beautiful 1920’s script.


The bank also has a a candidate the oldest surviving advertising hoarding in the city,
No fly away posters with wallpaper paste and crap slogans here!
