As a temporary Scot 1952-3 (my father was in the RN and was standing by the Royal Yacht being build at John Brown's shipyard on the Clyde) I can remember seeing what I now know to be the remnants of the George Bennie Railplane near the (old) Bearsden Academy, which I attended. Does anyone else remember this?
