I have a recorded birth of a relative which states he was born in 1894 at ''Glasgow maternity hospital''.
I'm aware that Oakbank opened in 1904, does anyone have any info on where the Maternity Hospital for Glasgow was located during the 1890's ?
In the absence of an 'A' at the start of ''Glasgow maternity hospital'', I suspect that TEM's answer

I'd agree with that Rottenrow was 'the' Glasgow Maternity Hospital long before any others came along, including QMH (now closed) the Maternity Unit at SGH, Stobhill Maternity Unit (now closed) and Rutherglen Maternity (now closed).
