PPM - you could try SCRAN , but you can't really post the Past photos as they are fairly bastardy on the copyright

ebay for old postcards ??
Or scan from second-hand books from wherever?

This one must have been done before , but I got tired after 97 pages - at least the present IS today :D

Here here.
I managed to make it through all of the pages of this thread (including the first volume, though I did skip over a few pages here and there which went off topic  ). Fantastic work folks.

On the old pic, the buildings to the right look as though they're near completion.
The one's to the left have been demolished and replaced.
You can also see the entrance to Tontine Lane.
All I needed was some wummin to get lifted by the polis and the scene was complete.

Anyway I went to Chinaski's for a couple of pints of Sagres and then went next door for a curry.

You know sometimes you forget about the concrete monsters that were built in the 60's/70's and then you see pics like this and you ask - AGAIN!
"WHY"

Incidently, what is the building - flats?? I've often walked past it but never cared to look
Ps Futile attempt to put a flower feature behind the concrete columns...in puckin concrete ! :?

Thanks for the pic purplepantman - that sure is some contrast.

It's an extension to the North British Hotel. It isn't just hideous in its own right, it also makes the entrance to the station gloomy and unappealing. How did it ever get approved in the first place?

Oh hang on, we live in the city that never learns anything from the mistakes of the past and is currently considering a proposal to make the bus station gloomy and unappealing too.
