Dunno if we've settled on that as a defining characteristic yet, Dex. As Steve pointed out on #25, Barrachnie Park doesn't have a sign at the moment, for example.

Maybe we can get robertpool to email them all to the helpful chap at the council for confirmation.

And oi, you lot, getting them all off Google Streetview is, I'm fairly sure, cheating.

that's because it's along a bit, not "official" signage as such

Sorry don't have a photo

And where is this on the cheating scale?

Scoobydoo, just get a streetview shot up before the HG rules committee met for a decision.

Maybe, but it saves on time and fuel

Anyway, I'm going nowhere with the weather like it is!

Kitten,

From the lack of snow in them, I'm guessing your photos are of the "here's one I took earlier variety".

I have to ask, why on earth did you already have a photo of the "Old Station Park" sign?

That is just random... I love that! ::):

Something has just occurred to me... I remember, as a kid, noticing that the GCC park signs had opening and closing times on them. I found that quite amusing back then.

Do they still have opening/closing times on the signs?

I couldn't remember what it was called, V.

I knew it wasn't Kinning Park Park...

Quite a lot of people think it's just called Kinning Park, but that's the name of the district, called after the Kinning House estate which once covered the area. Plantation Park is rather smaller than it used to be, a chunk having been lopped off when the M8 Motorway was built about 30 years ago.

And a few pictures of Festival Park, which is of course just across the road from Plantation Park, although this is the entrance on Pacific Drive, not the one on Lorne St.
