Behind your skepticism I sense excitement...

Steady on Shazzababes ... and less of the "old" thank you very much.

This is shaping up to be a Hidden Glasgow lost weekend! Friday in the pub, Saturday looking for the Holy Grail of sticks, Sunday wandering amidst the Catholic tombs.

Oh, and we should bring letters from our mammies explaining why we are marching through the park with bowie knives in our hands!

Yes, thanks, that would be delightful. I may be a bit muzzy after the night before, but a good bit of whittling will clear my head!

Apologies Ronnie, my good man. The lost weekend...sounds excellent!!

Now, if you have a look in your SAS survival tin, you should find a tiny little saw, this should help us avoid getting arrested for carrying machetes!!

Are the various Westenders planning to take a 57 bus from Charing Cross over to the park? Maybe we could all meet up and get the same bus? Convoy!

Jim said he can't make it. So the stick hunt could be held off....a walk could still occur.

How about a wee trip to Hamilton Mausoleum with Doc and -K- just for a change? With a look round Strathclyde park.

We could make it the big Hamilton day out. Look round the Low Parks museum, visit the Mausoleum, walk round Strathclyde Park, then round it off with a visit to M & D's!

Hamilton and environs sounds like a good day out.
Not so sure about M&Ds, though.
It must be the only theme park in the world without a theme :?

Its theme is that it's "Scotland's Only Theme Park".

Which means that anyone could open another one and use the slogan "Scotland's only half-decent Theme Park".

Right, I'll be at the Low Parks Museum at around half twelve for a wee look round there before heading on the Mausoleum tour. Feel free to join me.
