Homes of the Future

Postby Kirsty » Fri May 21, 2004 11:08 am

Has anyone heard anymore about when the next two phases will be developing?? I know that the second phase was supposed to be on the spare ground at Charlotte Street and the third phase was on London Road at the row of shops where the "Heart of Gold" Jewellers is at present.

OR do you think the novelty has worn off?

Hiya Kirsty!

They tried that trick in America a while back - it didn't work very well.

http://www.roadsideamerica.com/set/xanadu.html

Home of the future - kind of an oxymoron, as soon as you have BUILT it, it automatically becomes -=HOME OF THE PRESENT=- and a few days later it's gonna be -=HOME OF THE PAST =-.

Progress sucks!! ::):

Copper...
Pics.

Breeze block is excellent in the fields of keeping the house warm in winter, cool in summer and it's also very strong.

Is it however the worst noise insulant in the world besides an operational megaphone.

Road noise, the neighbours, etc etc

I can hear em' all!

New house soon though! :-)

Wow.. That looks immense!!

That's quite a lot of £'s worth of copper anyways!!

Not that I'm suggesting we steal it of course!! You don't really need it Kirsty, right ?? :twisted: :?:
