I washed up here the other week. I have a major soft spot for the place, but I guess I'm biased. Nothing particularly 'hidden' about these, but I hope you like...
In the Howff, which arguably has the best name of any graveyard in Scotland:

I'm not sure why I took this. Note the photogenic shopping trolley at the bottom left:

Squigster, I am envious as hell. That looks like great fun, and I can see my aunt's place from up there!

Nice photos.

My son had to go to a Boys Brigade service on Sunday night and believe it or not guest speaker was from The Logie Church in Dundee and was chaplain to Dundee Football Club.

The last time I set out for Dundee I got cold feet at Perth and chickened out.

Lmfao at what Onyirtodd said! Having talked up Dundee in my previous post I do concede that liking Dundee is an acquired taste and certainly doesnt seem to be the norm amongst people I've met!

Dundee is a fantastic place for a visit. I was lucky enough to spend some time working there a few years ago and loved it.

Well worth a day out with a camera.

Prompted by this thread I contacted a pal in Grotty Ferry and arranged to meet her in Perth yesterday lunchtime. Many thanks to First Scotrail for making haveitaway day tickets so affordable.

Here's more, just for the hell of it. Some are a few years old, before I figured out how to work a camera properly...

I can see Broughty Ferry from here:

Howff seagulls. Taken from under a tree after the one on the left started dive-bombing me  :

Non-pearly gates, made from that strange soapy mud-coloured sandstone that characterises older Dundee:

Excellent photo's. I particularly liked the one of the Tay rail bridge from above the Tay - was that one taken from Dundee Law?

Cheers, glad you liked them :D
It was indeed from up the Law Hill. Bloody freezing it was too, in the middle of February 2007. (The not-up-the-Law ones were from the end of May this year. I got slightly sunburned, which sounds a bit outlandish at the moment!)

Dear old Dundee. The photo of the underside of the road bridge is amazing.

In the days before pooper scoppers were the norm the biggest problem West Coast natives found in Dundee was the landmines. Doesn't rain as much as we are used to, so the dog keech has a longer pavement life.

Thanks :D
I heard once it's just about the driest place in Scotland right enough, which I dare say would be a strange thing for all you 'rain town' folks. It's a sadly overlooked wee city, but like I said I'm biased.
