(I thought that'd get some attention ) from the Ardeer munitions plant/ site nr Irvine is what looks like a derelict hospital/ country house/ why.

Anyone know what it was?

Ravenspark Hospital? Sad state of affairs, went on fire about a year ago, and since then about half of the site has been demolished. Think all that's left is the listed buildings, and even then they are falling to pieces.

I seem to recall there was a group of people, Ghost Hunters or some such, who often went down there and spoke to ghosts, or something.

Think a few people from here have visited the place too. I was down there last February after the previous security company left, didn't enter any of the buildings for risk of them collapsing down on top of me, but got a few snaps in and around the grounds. Didn't see any ghosts mind, must not have the Accorah gift!

Its up for sale again if anyone wants to stump up some cash for it.
