You are all farting down wind here people. The best of the best was the Unique in Alison Street. Unfortunatly the family retired. People ao all walks of life came from all over just to get a fish tea. the Unique on Alison St. was superb, it was not a chippie for pub goers as it closed early evening...

True, It was called Neptunes Way in the original design submission to GCC, but I am pretty sure it is now called The Glasgow Bridge until a name is found.

My aunt worked in the Luma light Factory in the forties, she was also in the documentary a few years ago about the factory and it's workers.

It was a good place to work by all accounts, the conditions were first meant to be rate.
