Looking for electronic components in Glasgow

Are there any old timey electrical/electronic component shops left in the city ?
I'm looking for the sort of boffin place which sells old style switches etc instead of the modern expensive, individual bagged stuff Maplins does.

I know of RS Components but they don't stock what i'm after.

Re: London Road is falling down

Indeed, Landressy Street, and Bridgeton itself, is hardly that welcoming either.

Re: London Road is falling down

Was the Keystane Pub closed by order ? I seem to have a vague recollection of reading something to that effect taped to it's door.

Re: London Road is falling down

I've used it a few times. I think it's going to be moved though which is sad, it's a nice building inside & out.
Supposedly it will be put to other uses, but it seems to do rather well being a library.

Re: London Road is falling down

The road closures are overkill. They could have opened up Olympia St to all traffic (not just buses & taxis), but no, the whole bloody cross is closed.

Re: Depression

Most people tend to have a simplistic view of medical stuff, often taken directly from what they've seen on some duff tv soap or drama. Heart Attack = Theatrically clutching chest Disabled = Wheelchair Registered blind = White stick & dog Mental illness = Howling at the moon and dangerous They n...

Re: The Co-op Building...

The gutted section has mostly gone but they haven't touched the old bit. What do you reckon, will it be saved ?
