Didn't get round to post this 'til now ( when I remembered ) Driving through the Gallowgate the other day, noticed they ( faceless powers that be ) were tearing down the old cinema beside the Bellgrove Hotel. Can't remember its name, but sad to see it finally go....

Squires was a quite 'well to do' gay bar. I used to work up the road. Very popular with the office crowd at lunchtime. Total poofetry in the evening. As for the person that mentioned 'Maxwell Plums', it has long been demolished. Was a haunt of one of Colin Barr's first nights. As for 'The Warehouse'...
