Are the 70's being painted as a "golden age" where we all roamed free as kids? I think all ages had their share of danger. Words like "paedophile" and "child murderer" i believe were (even more)heavily laden with taboo and therefore were not widely discussed in the past...

Thanks Graham, unfortunately i dont know how to send an image in a PM and i have never used Flickr. If you can tell me how to insert an image into a PM i will take you up on your kind offer to reduce the KB size of the image.

Can anyone tell me how to compress an image for an avatar

Hi, As the post title says i am trying to reduce an image to 8KB for an avatar for this site. I am presently using Irfanview to reduce images to the correct pixel size but i cannot figure out how to reduce the KB size to suit, Thanks in advance, Johnny.

The pawn shops are at least regulated and mostly understood by the borrowers unlike certain other sources of loans, hire purchase and farepak arrangements.
