Fantastic Busdriver; thanks for that. It is such a lovely builing that I would hate to see it lay empty and fall into disrepair.

Thanks again

Re: Shettelston

I think this may be the best place to ask. Does anyone know if the building on Shettleston Road previously occupied by John Wheatey college is now used for any purpose or is it empty?

Re: What song are you listening to?

I only became aware of this fantastic song and amazing video in a recent Top of the Pops 1978 broadcast on BBC4. To be honest I have never understood, from a straight perspective, what any female finds attractive about Mick Jagger but the way he delivers the line about 'Queen of porn' changes that. ...

A few years ago I phoned Pitt Street to inform the police of an incident I had witnessed the previous day in Buchanan Street. A...

Re: You know you're getting old when.....

A warm glow takes over when you find that Tartan Special is available in cans again. Not only that but I then acted like an old Grannie by buying four cans for the end of October (when I will be off Tramadol by then) just in case. You gauge how good your day is when pain from problem A isn't as bad ...

Re: random question

I don't want to disclose my own political views but does The Creeping Spleen and Doorstops enthusiasm stop at Independence or do you both genuinely wish for visitors to this country to have difficulty when spending their money? I'm not wanting to start a fight but that s the way I've read your respo...

Re: What song are you listening to?

Only found out about this song today. Keep up with the Double Entendre count and invite the kids to join Charlie Drake and
his incredible rendition of what type of fish he finds most enjoyable:

Do you still frequent the Sun Inn? That and the Tudor Inn seem to have retained poor reputations although that often os very unfair.

Thanks

Re: One for the railway heads

Thanks to Gary and Dex, I was more concerned about missing a date and having to pay more but you both have given me the opportunity to save hard earned cash so really appreciated and I will buy you both a couple of pints should we meet. Am on Nightshifts just now; hence the time of my belated epistl...
