Nice! I'd be interested to see what you'd make of this though: yes. that's my next challenge. :? :cue dramatic music: another work-in-progress update: http://hometown.aol.co.uk/RssDickson/Botanics10.jpg Yes, the bricks on the arches and the side of the air vents are the wrong way round.... T...
Not had much chance to work on this, this week. Until tonight when I completely remodelled everything. Much more accurate now. Just got the stairs at the halfway point, internal lighting, track sleepers and the bricked-up bit at the far end to add, then I'll be making textures and getting everything...
These are very early sketches, really playing about with lighting, trying to get that accurate. I'll be updating these during the week as I add to the models. Using Cinema 4D for these. Once I've got something that's ready for higher resolutions, I'll do maybe do some desktops. Anyone know what kind...
The virtual restoration project of St. Peter's Seminary got me thinking... and working... This evening's work... http://hometown.aol.co.uk/RssDickson/Botanics03.jpg http://hometown.aol.co.uk/RssDickson/Botanics04.jpg Any potential to things like this, such as posters as with the vector art? Edit: I ...
Yeah we had some good torch action going on. Went right to the steel doors at the Kelvinbridge Underground car park, then all the way back. It's probably about the same distance again from Kirklee to the Botanics Station. And theres a creepy man-like shadow on the wall visible for most of the tunnel...

Would look...

I reckon...

Another thing I never got to see. Now I'm trying to make up for lost time.
Why not just remove the whole thing? http://hometown.aol.co.uk/RssDickson/2004_0413_153941AA.JPG Just off High Street along from the old pub. (Attempted to make this photo look like I took it 30 years ago :P ) http://hometown.aol.co.uk/RssDickson/2004_0413_143013AA.JPG
Great website, I've been urban-exploring from the comfort of my computer 'til today, when I decided to do some of my own. You can still see tramlines next to the Finnieston Crane, disappearing into the bushes. I took my camera.... Nice footwear. http://hometown.aol.co.uk/RssDickson/2004_0413_152429A...
