Most online maps show the Southern General end of Langlands Road as Emma Street. Lived in that part of Langlands Road from age of 9 to 21 and never, ever heard of Emma Street, in fact there is only an electricity sub-station on that part of the road and it has a street name plaque stating Langlands ...

My Dad worked in the Funerals Department ther in the '90's. Was only ever in it once though. Can anyone remember the main CWS building across the road being a Hyper-Market?

Was on one of the last ever crossings of the Kelvinhaugh Ferry. My sister born Jan 1980 was weeks old - it is such a vivid memory cos on the same day our dad tried to get us through the old tunnel but wasn't able to!

i grew up in Aboukir Street, directly opposite the farm, in the seventies and went to St. Jeromes which meant a walk through the park via the gate at the farm. Try Cressy Street and Aboukir Street in Govan, they also used to be linked by a Trafalgar Street. Trafalgar is long gone but Cressy and Aboukir both still exist and take their names from warships built in the yards that themselves wher named after battles.
