If I was only over 50 and could get my clock or my £5.00 Marks & Spencer voucher, I would be the luckiest person,.... ever. I have another 11 years to go. What do you think we will be offered by then. A face-lift enhancement which has been genetically matched with our youngest relatives (when th...

Mod Foss, If you posted the sign in Cambuslang, then you must be familiar with the shitty area I live in. The bastardised Main Street traffic and the impending demolition of north side of Main Street, which is then going to emmulate the original fu*king buildings that were there pre 60's. I actually...

Oh, and yes, Terri McIntyre was very good. No laughter track and very low budget. Second series not so good, but some very fine moments....

Hope to receive some sort of feedback from Dickyhart as to use of premises. Seem to remember a 'VERY' short-lived nightclub in that very premises. Then some sort of mobile phone type business........but who really knows what goes on behind closed doors? I'd love to know. Just out of interest, I have...

Dear Dr I've always wondered what 'Non-Doctor' meant in my Dad's magazines when I was young. Can you shed any light on this as I am now old, and feel embarrassed that I don't know. Mum would never tell me........ Did you get the PM I sent about that C*ck su*king T*ss Pot, brown-nosing "I can only pl...

Thanks for support Mod Fos. Long may it last, but that may not actually be for that long. I believe it was in the press that the pub used for the 'Clansman' is going to be torn down.........sad. Just out of interest, are you the guy that works above the shady 'More Store' in Cambuslang, that posted ...

Still Game...

Am I speaking out of turn, or is 'Still Game' actually very funny? Various other Scottish comedy progs have been 'funny to an extent', including 'Chewin The Fat', but it seems Still Game stands out. Ned content is splendidly conveyed and the local Glaswegian-Asian retailer is possibly the best chara...

Yes it is Glasgow...one of my mates was up for a part, but lost out to that McCafferty bloke (top off, knocks over can). You will have seen him in various other commercials, and of course the horrific 'Pasty Faces' movie..... enough said.

Thanks for the reply, but that site was the first place I looked. It's a very good site, but sadly lacking in cinemas that are completely gone. The book mentioned above had all the info I was looking for. It's extremely comprehensive and I would really highly recommend a look. I ordered it from the ...

No Taggart I'm afraid... But worked with some of the crew. Have worked as 'video assist' on many commercials and some shows. Extras are treated like sheep, I know, as I've had to herd them!. Working on a crew, you sometimes get asked to be an extra (no extra money, cheapskates) Can be seen in: 'The ...

Pretty much off topic, but does anyone remember a great programme called 'The 80's', which was screened on Hogmanay 1989? It basically covered the majority of 80's music in various sections, such as 'most expected to offend' including Milli Vanilli displaying virtually all in thin tights, and Cameo ...
