Re: What are you watching?

Brit Awards.

Madonna had a nasty looking fall at the start of her set. Wonder if she didn't unclasp her cape in time and it wass supposed to be pulled or whether it caught on somebody.

Re: george square accident

Another tragic accident just over a year since the last one. So sad; yet this is when Glasgow unites. I hope this awful situation has not affected anyone or anyone close to anyone here.

Re: What are you watching?

Lots of praise must be given to the Stand Up To Cancer show last night which was inspiring and upsetting in equal measure. That said who the fuck thought it was funny to promote a prostate examination in a homo-erotic way with a punchline of a man yelling in pain at the end? There are many reasons m...

Re: CAMBUSLANG STONE FACE

Not sure how I managed to get the street names mixed up but aye, that's the one. Shame the wee bench and flower bed weren't maintained, looked like a nice wee corner to chill on! I also like Kyle Court. Glasgow volume of Buildings of Scotland says it's from 1965. Cheers again; I just noticed that a...

Re: CAMBUSLANG STONE FACE

Success! Well spotted, Gary! I'm still pretty sure that's Kyle Court or one of the other 'triplets' on the right, on account of the extended balconies - which Kyle Court doesn't have. ( I grew up in Sherry Heights, so I'm well familiar! ). I've always thought that Kyle Court and the South Lanarkshi...

Re: What song are you listening to?

Fucking Hell; there are widespread media reports that following a stroke last year Malcolm Young requires full time care due to demantia like symptoms. Shit: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2770126/Retiring-AC-DC-guitarist-Malcolm-Young-admitted-time-care-dementia-pulling-band-s-upcomin...

Re: CAMBUSLANG STONE FACE

There's a wee patch of grass on the NE corner of where Stewarton Drive and Buchanan Drive intersect. I'm 99.9% it was taken there. The grass is not longer tended, but there's still a path and the remains of a circular feature. Overgrown trees and hedges make it very difficult to compare, but some o...
