I'm sure someone will recognise the pub with the sawn-off building in the background! :D However, I'm pretty sure that the doorway from where they emerge right at the end is the Buchanan Street entrance to the old George Hotel. The circles and the triangles on the wood are the ...

Re: Forgotten Pubs & Clubs in Glasgow

This is the only shot outside. Absolutely no clues at all! Any suggestions? I was trying to see through the windows from the indoor shots too, but no clue either!

Re: Bridge to nowhere

A little sign, which I'd not noticed before. Not the best quality for either, but I couldn't be bothered hanging about in the rain! http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y113/vinnythemackem/2012-12-20125809.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y113/vinnythemackem/2012-12-20125827.jpg

Re: Clothing Factory by Teviot St?

My mother was born in Greenock, but lived in Glasgow from a very early age. Her brothers and sisters were all born in Sandyford Street. I think it was pretty much the last close nearest the river on the west side. 13 might be the number, but I wouldn't swear to it! The family left about 1961 to move...
