I have had a few Yerba Mate teas and am now slightly wired and am having to have a beer before bed.

I like 'Land of Hope and Glory' but not in a political or religous context.

There is a programme called Hypersnap which is good for taking a picture of the whole screen. The pic can then be cropped etc.

The Tickled Trout just past the end of Balmore Road. They bring you sauce on a wee tray and then take it away again!

The Hunters Chicken was meat soup.

On the plus, the Fish and Chips dish is massive.

In the summer the canopies in the garden blow off and hit people.

In fairness, a lot of people forget to update blogs these days.

That reminds me, I am going on holiday 5 years ago. I will tell you about it next year.

Shieldhall Waste Water Treatment Works on Renfrew Road has a particularly smelly aroma - like a bottle of piss out for a stroll, hand in hand with a jobby sausage.

If he helped restrain a criminal then perhaps he should receive a certificate or corporation medal (do they still exist?). Any public recognition should be reserved for people who knowingly risk their lives to help others. For example if a bomb goes off on the Glasgow Subway and someone stays behind...

I think it looks amazing, especially from the sky. Most people will be arriving on foot though and not by helicopter. From the ground it looks less grand, but it has my vote. It is like part of a chrome bumper from an American car from the 1950s. Mind you, a crumpled post-collision bumper. Speaking ...

You need to get into home-made fridge magnets. It's the new rock n' roll or the old knitting - I can't remember which. I have hand-drawn 12 so far.

I am not overly infatuated by cultural events which are so blatantly sponsored by corporations. Couldn't some of these bands put-up some of their own money or some record company money to stage a festival as a thanks to the fans with any profits going to Wateraid or some other grand cause. Instead o...

My favourite boat was the Great Michael which was manufactured in Eccose during the reign of the gallant James IV Stuart. I understand it was the greatest vessel of its day yet was never used in anger and rotted away in France.
