Well you learn something new every day so thanks for that Spleen.
I'd never even heard of the Wurzels version of 'Golden Brown' and just after listening to it there. :o :)

Re: What song are you listening to?

After all the talk about cider on the other thread I was listening to 'I am a cider drinker' - the Alestorm version and not The Wurzels.

Re: Workplace Hates

A guy in work gave me his phone charger as I shared one with another guy which then disappeared. Now this one has gone walk about. My own fault for not locking it away. The guy doesn't want it back but I'd like to find it all the same. I expect someone moved it when I was on a days leave. Borrow som...

Re: Workplace Hates

BBQ - I find these can be a bit hit and miss. One of my sons had a school fundraiser thing every year and I looked forward to it. Some parents cooked burgers outside on their own BBQ and these were served along with various salad mixtures indoors. Food was eaten at long tables with bench style seati...

Re: What song are you listening to?

'Bittersweet Goodbye' by Issey Cross.

Think I would prefer to hear 'Bitter Sweet Symphony' but perhaps I need to try listening to more recent stuff.

Re: Boredom Thread: What advert drives you insane?

Two adverts at the moment which I don't like.
First is the Samsung advert advertising the FlipSide phone.

Second one is the guy who sings to the 'I've got the power' while he is at the till.

Re: Workplace Hates

Henrysix, I had to Google the 'Chelsea Whopper' so I think it is a soft fudge covered in chocolate but we will get Spleen to confirm.

Thanks for the tip Spleen and the next time I am in Glasgow I can stock up.

Re: Am I the only one?

Spleen, I am 5 foot 7 inches in height but wear an 8 in shoes so all the nicer shoes/trainers always seem to be in the smaller sizes. Sometimes I envy girls in work who have small feet but then they complain about clothes being too long on them so thankfully I don't have that problem. Sometimes 8 is...

Re: Am I the only one?

Does anyone on here ever go to T K Maxx? On my recent trip to Glasgow I bought a pair of memory foam Skechers. I am pleased with them as they are so comfy but the shoes and trainers do seem to have gone up a lot in price. There were some other makes available which had some good prices just not in m...
