that would seem fairly easy to find, a compass, stoat pair of boots and a free afternoon would clear that one up.

just need to walk the full length of that path to make sure there really is three streams, then it would be easier to narrow it down.

or if you had a gps unit you'd be laughing.

cheers for the advice guys! as you've pointed out already, my concern is the potention for boil overs/leaks and it hitting the wiring, but i will have 5 gallons of head room in the top, so i "should" be ok, its just making a water tight seal, but the silicon O rings that come with the elements will ...
