Thanks Am I correct here, from what I can decipher the line above the V1.7.15 would be the Cumbernauld line with the branch going off to Barnhill and the track with Garngad station being the one that goes onto Alexandra Parade? this would mean the line going through the 15 being the line the runs to...

Hello, Ive been down south for about a 1 1/2 now but lived in Glasgow for the previous 30 years of my life. good to see a site about things I used to go on wanders with my dad to seek out. It makes me miss home tho :(

Seemingly there are tunnels around the site of the old Collins' factory at townhead. My mum worked there and said they used to take shortcuts to other parts of the factory and go for a fag. I dont know if they link to the Royal??? Also what about the old dance halls - such as Dennistoun Palais - now...

Doocots

Theres a lot of activity at the doocot in Duke Street at the junction with Cumbernauld Road. Its on your left hand side as you walk towards Big W. They dont mind you standing watching them either.
