Re: FAQ: Posting Tips

Tobester, in the wee toolbar on your screen above where you type your post, click on the youtube= button. That will paste the relevant code in for you. Copy the URL of the youtube vid you want to use, and paste it after the "=" sign in the code, e.g. for this video http://www.youtube.com/...

Re: What song are you listening to?

Sorry. Ignore please (still can't understand how to embed a video despite Sharon making it clear elsewhere and the thousands of similar instructions online).

Re: Thatcher is dead.

A lantern extinguished,
So a Nation mourns?
Nay; this world weeps,
Through benighted rights and representation,
Farewell to an Iron Lady,
Our steel willed Palladin

Re: IDS calls "War!" on the Great Unwashed.

George Galloway seems to have been the first public figure to say or post a comment guaranteed to cause faux outrage with a quick 'Tramp the dirt down' tweet.

At least this ensures; or at least I hope it ensures, public political debate.

Re: Tattoos

I was there for a few hours on Saturday for what was another fantastic show. They seem to have received positive press coverage from the BBC, Herald, Scotsman and Times. That's great to see as the people behind the show put an incredible amount of effort to bring the best quality artists, vendors an...

Re: Not really interesting facts about yourself

Before I turn in I want to post something that a mate pinged me after I informed him of my call to NHS24 at 03:00 yesterday morning. Explaining that I had collapsed on the floor some half an hour earlier and that it had taken all my strength to hold the phone which my friend had handed me the person...

Re: Not really interesting facts about yourself

Thanks to Sharon and Lucky Poet for both the kind words and advice. They are greatly appreciated. Either I am still very tired or am half stoned as I am incredibly relaxed and numb. Having been in agony a couple of times in my life I hate the misuse of the word but that is exactly what I experienced...

Re: Not really interesting facts about yourself

Six weeks after returning to my job, following an almost nine month absence for a muscle problem in my back, I have had a bad weekend and ended up at the Doctor. Unfortunately the lumbar pain and movement restriction returned worse than ever and for the first time I had pain running down my left leg...

Re: What are you watching?

Did anyone see the Canadian born singer Kyla Lingley http://kylalingley.com/ perform for the Breakthrough charity http://www.breakthrough.org.uk/ at the Concert Hall around lunchtime today? I only caught the final performance which was her amazing rendition of Time to say Goodbye. There seems to be ...

Re: random question

Would anyone be able to point me in the direction of a decent letting agents that would offer rooms, flats or apartments in the south side? This may sound incredibly anal but I can't trust companies that, for example (and by the way this is not dumping on any area here) advertise Allison Street in G...

Re: Not really interesting facts about yourself

Returned my fantastic job in Social Care today; a position I am dedicated to in a profession I truly love, following a nine and a half month absence due to a longstanding issue from a back injury I received some seven years ago. My rehabilitation is continuing very well and once I add a half stone o...
