They'll stay there in mid air while the flats collapse underneath them. Dastardly and Mutley will happen along and give them a ride to a nearby a...

Re: Cyclists in Glasgow?

Octavias pull up outside my flat all day long. Disiesels. Rattle-chatter-rattle-chatter... :(

Toot toot!

The doorbell is on the side of the house, not the steering wheel.

Re: Old Cars etc Spotted

If we strip out the extraneous HTML:

Should link to a rather nice sunlit red Sunbeam.

Re: Insects, Spiders and Creepie-Crawlies

I have seen two large bumble bees wandering around this morning which I assume to be queens looking for nesting sites.

Re: Not really interesting facts about yourself

Sorry to hear you two are weighed down with your losses. Doorstop has it about right. Ashes and other physical reminders will make up their own mind when it's time to go. It's the memories that you get to keep.

Sending positive waves...

Re: Abandoned Farm Buildings Next to River Clyde between New

I went out there a few years ago and I can tell you that "grassland" doesn't do justice to the triffids lurking within... ;)

Re: One for the railway heads

It went under Pollokshaws Road by the monumental masons at about one o'clock. I have footage but nowhere to post it thanks to Photobucket becoming too cumbersome to use.

Re: Links to funny, cool or interesting stuff

The last time any broadcast had my full and undivided attention was the first episode of "Sherlock". Meades manages a whole episode and a half before uttering "unprecedented" - and then in its proper meaning. I couldn't tell you when I last had to watch anything with a dictionary...

Re: Live music in Glasgow

Plenty of the tribute bands are perfectly competent, just a pity they don't want to stretch themselves and do something original. Easy money I suppose. I thnk the point of a tribute act is that they play the album live so that everything's familiar to the audience. Those who write their own materia...
