Re: Ghosts & Hauntings in Glasgow

Hi, my sister lived in what at the time were new builds at Crossmyloof Gardens over the southside. At day or night she would hear footsteps on the stairs & objects would go missing & reapper in strange places (Housekeys hanging from curtain rail & the like). Within a few months the kids ...

Re: Transport Preservation Trust Weekend 25th and 26th of August

Thanks for that Ken. I was trying to track down a Daimler/Alexander D***? It was only a chassis and body shell last I saw of it at Busworld in Hillington, do you happen to know of it? I believe it was owned by Michael Roulston......I'm not talking about D217 btw.... :D

Re: Cathkin Park

Albion Rovers FC bought the Floodlights from Cathkin Park in 1968 & only replaced them around 2000'ish I believe, I wonder if anyone had the notion to hold on to any of them?

Re: St Enoch Station (Not Subway)

Any reason that a NEW St Enoch Station couldn't be built? Most of the approach is only occupied by that excuse for a car park.

As a kid I spent 13 months from July 1967 in ward 4a (Kids), 4b was a female ward if I remember correctly. I remember when we kids were catching the rays out on the verandah, at the top of o...

Re: Old Glasgow Tram Ticket Machines

I dont know if this is of any interest, The Transport Museum has in its collection(not on public display) a lot of machinery relating to Glasgow's tram system. I spent a bit of time there as a voluntary conservator and saw some wonderful things including the giraffe they had in storage ! WOW! The G...
