ma pet hate was the warehouses like Fishers, Gordons and Stirlings, they treated your like trash because it was pay up place ah mind it well. waiting big queues for shoes and then they would show you two pairs to choose from.. hated it.

Frasers wiz fur snobs, ah did go in it but wiz scared to ask for anything with the toffy nosed bints on the makeup counters, but I did used to sneak in to get a scoot of Chanel no 5 on my way to the dancing.

dont know if been mentioned yet but ah fancy seeing in the David Dale College in Broad st. and the old church round the corner in Brook st.. what about the old church house at the top of Brook st, and Crownpoint road, I think its still there.. but Id love to get into Whitevale Baths..

I wrote a couple of daft wee stories about living in the schemes on Tachras, one is called India st and for some reason the title i wanted got changed and doesnt fit for anyone who knows about Glasgow.. India st was the housing office, never mind, you can still read some of my rubbish under Maude on...

doctors will admit to the dangers in household cleaning products and toiletries, if you have a look at phthalates in almost everything as well as all the other toxins, you might be very surprised. and its time we were told just whats in everyday things we use.

I loved Lewiss not only the wonderful window displays, did you know their window dressers were sent to NY for training ,I used to dream of being one when I left school, my first impression of Lewiss s was the smell, there was always that kind of weird smell of the many cheeses it sold as you walked ...

Goldbergs , what a shop that was, you felt important going in there to shop and their Xmas Grotto was second to none, does anyone remember the carpets with the G on them a man in Garthamlock who worked there had his full house covered in purple carpet out the place, and the wee counters with the ros...
