I did the interview etc and was accepted but they left it till late. They wanted me to chauffeur the stars but I didn't fancy driving around the city. I worked the city for years as delivery driving so sod that. Then they asked me to be a greeter at the airport but any times from six till midnight. ...

totally pissed off today. We were taking my son who has learning difficulties over to science centre/imax. Got off train at Exhibition centre only to find walkway to SECC is closed till 6th August WTF. We had to give up as try telling someone like my son that we have take a long way round. not fekki...

One good thing about these games is that a lot of the city is getting a long overdue tidy up. Even post boxes are being repainted. Although I feel sorry for anyone living near any venue. The recent Glasgow free magazine shows detailed areas where parking may well be impossible for both visitors and ...

Incident in Yoker??

Was out today for a cycle along to Clydebank on cycle track. However the section between Dock st and Clyde st and behind Yoker football ground were sealed off with lots of police . Looked like a crime scene. Have not heard what happened.

We had a great visit there and we had both sorts of weather hot/sunny and wet / windy. Walking around the place flooded ha ha . I took about 2,000 pics you cannot miss just so much to see. Only downer was cost of spending a penny. :)

Aye. Why no?? years ago driving up the A8 we saw a coo hit by a truck on the road. I was taking a bus load of workers to work. Wan of the guys an old butcher jumped oot and cut the things throat an let it bleed oot. Then they hauled it intae the back o the van and cut it up at oor yard an then share...

Haven't really read all posts in this thread. Bad memories. However back in 1990 I found myself living rough on the streets of Southampton, so unless you have been in that position, well just think there but for the grace....... Is that a confession to having been an aggressive beggar? Nope but don...
