The only one that sounds like it is Orphans - A Peter Mullan film about a 3 brothers and a sister the night before their mothers funeral, the sister was in a wheelchair. but it was released in 1997. A very dark comedy but and excellent film.

The one in Shawlands next to Pollokshaws East Station is a traditional Cobblers, only problem is it shuts half day on Saturday.

Did anyone watch the 39 Steps on BBC1 last night, the City Chambers was in it and I'm sure the Art Galleries as well.
