Dem-Master banner was put up on the listed frontage today, so demolition of the rear should commence sometime next year.

Re: Clyde St

I have no idea what the hold up was Mori, but Morrison`s pub closed early 2010 due to persistent flooding and the building to my knowledge was vacant and sold to developers for demolition, I then heard no more about it till now.

Re: Clyde St

Graphical House has been earmarked for demolition for at least 2 years now, we tendered it in early 2010.

Re: 1980's discos

Maybe you are thinking of a club that may have been in this gap site > GSV which burned down a few years ago... Was Penelopes in this block ? rings a bell for some reason although i was never in there or the afore mentioned clubs during the 80s. Yes Mori that`s the location of Penelope`s, I think i...

Re: Best Curry House

Went to the Himalaya on Friday for the first time in a couple of years as it was crap last time we were there, but its back in the hands of the former owners Dave and Bill and the food was excellent to the point of slabbering, can`t praise these guys enough for the quality of food and service, welco...

Re: the glasgow show

No surprises there then Egg Man. The question is why do they punt out this kind of money to third rate entertainers when Glasgow is abundant with good groups etc who would happily play for free or expenses only to promote themselves.

Re: Yet Another City Centre fire

As anyone who uses the Newsbox store next door knows, they are probably the fastest serving shop in Glasgow, I'm reliably informed that they hardly missed a beat while there was an inferno raging through the wall. :D That sounds about right Peasy as you can see in Mori`s vid that folk are still goi...

Re: Project Updates: St Peter's Seminary

Anyone who walks through that site is damaging it. Anybody who hasn't been should be asking themselves why they would want to go there. What makes your case so special that you need to go and add to all the photographs which have been taken so far. And thanks for looking at the site without noticin...
