Since the one way streets and designated parking came into being, the 44 goes along Sinclair Drive no problem every morning. I can get a bus at 8.25am at Scottish Power in Spean St and I'm in Oswald St between 8.45 and 8.50.

There's actually loads of pre-1850 buildings in Glasgow. Here's a few well known ones.... The original tower of the Merchant's Hall (long since demolished) still stands proudly over the Briggait. Langside Halls which or course was originally a bank in Queen Street was built in 1847 before being moved, brick by brick, to Shawlands in 1903.
