You should just go home, for a number of reasons:

1. You're not enjoying work right now which lowers productivity anyway.
2. You are lucky enough to be your own boss.
3. There's always tomorrow.

That's normally the reasons I use. :)

You could try and do something to take away the feeling of isolation - i.e perhaps listen to the radio for some background noise and at least them you're hearing other humans.

I just caught the tail end of that when I got home, but yes, his last demolition was very moving. He was such a character that I doubt will ever be replaced.
