Leaving 16 year old daughter at home so don't fancy calling out an emergency ferry when the neighbours call to complain about the noise.... I love Arran. Applecross was one of the places we camped when I was a youngster. Rained all the time - but yes remember it as being spectacular. Drive there was hairy - especially in old battered car with poor gears and malfunctioning handbrake.....
